workshop opportunity
How to write and implement an effective teaching and learning strategy.
Wednesday 18th June 2008
This workshop will be held in the Charing Cross Thistle Hotel close to Trafalgar Square 10-3.30p.m.
The workshop is based around the six key aspects of an effective teaching and learning strategy as described in the CPD circular available in downloads. The course will review evidence of what constitutes 'best practice' in each case with reference to key evidence from Ofsted publications, Lifelong Learning, QIA, LSC and published research. Templates to guide the writing of a teaching and learning strategy will be recommended. The aim is to address the following conclusion of the 'Leading through teaching and learning' conference 12th February 2008:
"our proposition is that providers adopt a strategic approach that focuses on systematically delivering outstanding teaching and learning.'
